Our Story~Living Well with Neurodivergence
Hello everyone! I just wanted to share a bit about my family with you all. We are a diverse group with a variety of neuro-differences. We like to refer to Attention Distraction Difference as ADD in our family. Along with processing issues, sensory challenges, and some OCD and Tourette's tendencies, we have a lot of unique differences among us.

My interest in special education began at a young age when a childhood friend with Down syndrome inspired me. Later on, raising a child with ADD, dysgraphia, sensory issues, and being on the spectrum motivated me to pursue a degree in Elementary Education, followed by a Master of Science in Special Education with a focus on learning disabilities, behavior disorders, ADD/ADHD, and autism. Over the past 30 years, I've had the privilege of working with hundreds of students with neuro-differences in various educational settings.

Aside from my work in education, I also have a passion for writing. In 2010, I started contributing to an online magazine called BellaOnline, where I wrote articles for the ADD, Sandwiches, and Reading sections. After writing over 700 articles, I decided to venture out on my own. This website and my series of small books called Live Well with ADD (and other neuro-differences) are the result of that leap of faith.
At 74 years young, I am excited to continue spreading awareness and providing valuable information on living your best life with neuro-differences. You can find my books on Amazon Kindle under my name, and be sure to follow us on Facebook at Live Well with ADD.

Thank you for joining me on this journey, and I am committed to working tirelessly to support and empower individuals with neuro-differences.

Warm regards,
Connie Mistler Davidson - Editor
